A day late

My next post is going to be a day late. This weekend my computer crashed and I had to spend a while to get it back up. While my posts are fun, they do need to take a backseat to other parts of my life.

Sorry, but come back tomorrow and there will be some new content.

Lesser Known Characters I Love: Johnny Thunder

It is no secret that I love the team Birds of Prey. Something to note about the team is that, before the 1980’s, Black Canary and Huntress were not on the same earth as Batgirl, Barbara Gordon. No, these two lovely ladies were on Earth-2, an older Earth then the one we all know about but they elected to take the name Earth-2 to make our Earth feel better about its self. Kinda nice of them, isn’t it? It is on Earth-2 that we got the JSA, or the Justice Society of America. These were the older heroes like Alan Scott, Wildcat, and Dr. Fate. But there was another hero on the JSA who was all the same heroic as the rest. There was one person who was born under such a lucky star that the world had to see him. That person was Johnny Thunder.

Lesser Known Characters I Love: Misfit

Gail Simone is awesome. She has done a lot of stories across many DC books and animations that I just love. By far, my favorite thing she worked on was the Birds of Prey comic book. Starting her run on it back in August of 2003 (at least that is the comic release month) and going until September 2007, then getting back on the book in July 2010 and writing 13 out of the 15 issues. But to me, there is one character she created that just doesn’t get the love I feel that character should.

That character is Charlotte Gage-Radcliff, otherwise known as Misfit.

Lesser Known Characters I Love: Terra

Welcome to week 2 of Lesser Known Characters I Love. This week’s character we are going to look at is Terra.

Um, no. Not that one.

*Sigh* Not that one either. The Terra I am talking about is the newest Terra.

Lesser Known Characters I Love: Resurrection Man

Well it is the New Year. A time for not only looking ahead at what life might bring up, but a time to look back and the year past. For me, this was the start of my blog (among other things). And the true start for me was my thoughts on the New 52 DC had launched. There were hits and misses, but I read them all. But reading about a lot of characters I loved before the relaunch, I got thinking. Very few of these characters are new and most of them just have a fresh coat of paint as it were. So what are the real histories of the characters I loved so much? And not even just from the relaunch, there are a bunch of characters that DC has released that I love but really, no one knows much about.

Well no more. For the month of January, I will be taking a break from reviewing comics to do some history lessons on some of my favorite characters who just don’t get the love I think they should. So welcome to week 1 (yes, I know it is not week one still. Shut up.) of a new post I am going to call:

Lesser Known Characters I Love.

For the first week, let’s take a look at Resurrection Man.

Happy new year

Well it is the start of the new year. And I got nothing.

Yeah, I was having a blast of a weekend with a good friend and her friends. But because of this, I was not able to get my post ready for this week. So here is what I'll do. I'll work on it over the week and, at worst, I'll do a double post next week, just so I can stay caught up.

Sorry about this all.
